About Tiembla Maruxa

Tiembla Maruxa holds the #1 position in Bueu's restaurant landscape, a distinction earned through relentless consistency across 297 reviews. The kitchen balances traditional Galician foundations—volandeiras, pulpo, bacalao, zorza—with innovative touches: prawn gyoza, mushroom discoveries, and a cheesecake that reviewers describe as "the richest of my life." Service is the venue's calling card: staff move with genuine attentiveness, remembering details (welcoming dogs, accommodating walk-ins during Easter week, attending to children with particular care). The room itself—stone walls, vintage décor, warm lighting—creates an unpretentious but carefully considered atmosphere that feels both local and special. Reservations are essential at lunch and dinner; the kitchen's small, focused menu (five starters, two mains, two desserts) means every plate receives meticulous attention. Pricing sits comfortably at €20–30, a transparent value proposition that reviewers consistently praise. The wine and beer lists reflect genuine curation, and cocktails are executed with precision. Accessibility is built in: wheelchair access, outdoor seating, and a bar for solo diners or walk-ins.

Tiembla Maruxa is one of those places where the dessert menu is not an afterthought — a detail regulars tend to mention first.

P.P.

El mejor restaurante de Bueu. No hay nada más que decir!
