Each month DOW publishes Hot Lists for 34 cities, ranked from written review activity, baseline rating, and Google profile completeness. The deltas tell their own story — venues climbing, venues sliding, openings that beat the guides to the punch. Available as a structured data drop the day before public publish.
The list that reads the city's own language
In Portugal and Spain, DOW weighs reviews written in Portuguese, Spanish or Basque more heavily than English ones — so a venue's own-language reviews aren't swamped by sheer volume. Every Hot List comes out markedly different from the English-language guides. The gap is the story.
Why DOW excludes the capitals
Two of Europe's most-covered food cities — London and Madrid — get exactly zero coverage on DOW. The argument: the biggest capitals are already over-served. Manchester, Porto, Bilbao, Seville, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Belfast, Birmingham, Bath and 25 more cities are not.
From Live Nation Entertainment (LNE) to Porto's tasca scene
Founder Anthony Robinson built DOW after a 30-year career in international music and media partnerships at MTV Networks and Live Nation Entertainment (LNE). The move from arena tours to ranking independent restaurants and bars is its own story.

Anthony Robinson is the founder and CEO of booteek AI Limited and Donde Onde Where. British-Irish and based in Portugal, he spent 30 years in international music and media partnerships, as Vice President of Music Marketing Partnerships International at MTV Networks and President of International Marketing Partnerships at Live Nation Entertainment (LNE). He founded the company that became booteek AI in May 2021.
