About Beer Kingdom
A quiet Monday at Beer Kingdom still draws a crowd worth knowing — the kind of beer bar that Porto rarely manages at this level of focus. Sitting inside Mercado Bom Sucesso, it pulls from a selection that runs deep: Belgian labels, Portuguese IPAs most locals haven't tried yet, imported drafts, and a rotating cast of specials that gives regulars a reason to keep coming back. Miguel behind the bar is the reason many do: he knows the range cold, steers first-timers toward something they wouldn't have picked themselves, and keeps the pace up without rushing anyone. No food at the counter, but the market surrounds it on all sides. An IPA runs around €6.30, which is fair for what's on offer. For anyone serious about beer, this is where to start in Boavista.
In the last 90 days, Beer Kingdom has drawn 5 substantial written reviews (50+ characters of genuine feedback) — recent momentum that is one of the signals behind its place on the hot list.
