About La Boca del Lobo
La Boca del Lobo sits near Burgos cathedral as the neighbourhood's second-ranked tapas destination, drawing locals and travellers for its dual menu of inventive raciones and time-honoured small plates. The kitchen stays open late—a rarity in the zone—and executes everything from beef meatballs and tempura-battered cod to white-chocolate-drizzled torrijas with consistent precision. Staff (notably Nico, Mariví, and Brian) navigate full rooms with unhurried professionalism, steering first-timers through portion sizes and wine pairings. The wine and beer lists punch above the €10–20 price point, and cocktails hold their own. Seating is tight but styled; dogs are welcome indoors and on the terrace. Reservations are essential for dinner and lunch; the room fills fast.
