About O de sempre

Lunch at O de sempre runs on the furancho spirit — the kind of Galician tavern tradition where the food is the point and nothing is dressed up to impress. The empanadas are what people travel for: the dough alone draws comment, and the pork loin and cod empanadillas show the same care in a smaller format. Chipirones and homemade desserts round out a menu that stays tight and does what it does well. The owner is genuinely warm, the service moves fast without feeling rushed, and the room fills up and gets loud — conversation takes effort when the place is packed. Reservations are worth making, especially for lunch.

In the last 90 days, O de sempre has drawn 16 substantial written reviews (50+ characters of genuine feedback) — recent momentum that is one of the signals behind its place on the hot list.
