ALMODOBAR sits at number 1 on the Hot List, and yeah, they've earned it. The tapas here work because they're straightforward—no theatre, no fiddling about with foam or tweezers. You'll walk in, order what's actually good, and eat properly for once (which shouldn't be this rare, but here we are).

CONTENEDOR | ART, FOOD & DRINK on Calle Dos de Mayo works fine if you're after an evening drink and don't mind the relaxed vibe. But if you want your tapas to actually matter alongside that caña, walk to leyzea instead, where the small plates aren't an afterthought.

Miribilla's got range, which sounds impressive until you realise most of it doesn't land.
