The salmorejo is worth ordering alongside them. Julian, one of the waiters, gets singled out by name for the kind of attentive, easy-going service that makes a meal feel longer than it is. The street outside is some of the best people-watching in the neighbourhood, and the room itself handles the foot traffic without losing its character. Food, wine and beer at prices that sit well under what the postcode could get away with charging.
