Bar Loucos & Sonhadores on Travessa da Queimada pulls a crowd, sure enough, and you'll find bodies pressed shoulder to shoulder most nights. The atmosphere's there if you want it, and the drinks'll do the job. But Maria Loca Bar does the evening thing better, with enough space to actually hear who you're talking to and room to move without apologising every 30 seconds.
